JUNIOR CRICKET TRADER (Full time/Part-time)
We are looking for a junior cricket trader to join our team in Brentford.
Role
o Generate prices through bespoke software.
o Manage your own book for both pre-match and in-play prices.
o Brentford based, in office (not hybrid). We will not be hiring anyone based further than 1.5 hours from Brentford.
o Prepared to work out of hours and some weekends determined by sports schedules and staff rotations.
Offer
o TBD rate and bonus structure. We are willing to take people on in part time positions if it suits.
o Potential to upscale to senior trading positions.
Skills
o Proficiency in Statistics and Probability Theory.
o Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
o Excellent understanding of odds and value appreciation.
o Bonus skills: Coding, Degree level maths/statistics advantage.
Secret skills - Maverick, passionate, unusual thinker etc.
Soft Skills
o Keen interest in sports, specifically cricket
o Personable, someone that can work well with a small team.
o A quick learner with a growth mindset.
o Passionate, diligent, and with an eye for detail.
o Ambitious to progress to senior trading positions.
Experience
o Experience in the Gaming industry, either through employment or personal activities.
o Experience in playing cricket at college/club level.
