Job Description

As our Global KYC Team Lead, youll lead the endtoend KYC lifecycle, support global compliance initiatives, and ensure our onboarding processes meet regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a handson role where youll balance operational oversight, stakeholder engagement, remediation projects, and quality assurance. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, youll as a trusted advisor on KYC, KYB, AML, and broader areas of antifinancial crime.

What youll do

You will drive enhancement projects, ensuring milestones are met and conducting quality checks on updated files to maintain accuracy and regulatory alignment. Acting as our subject matter expert, youll advise on KYC/KYB requirements, AML expectations, sanctions, and screening queries. Youll also conduct and review CDD/KYC for tenants, suppliers, and other relevant parties, ensuring all due diligence meets internal and regulatory standards.

A key part of the role involves investigating screening alerts, resolving highrisk findings, and escalating issues where appropriate. Youll develop policies and training to uplift KYC capability across the business and ensure teams remain aligned with evolving regulations. Youll also prepare reports for the Head of Compliance, providing insights into onboarding performance, trends, and investorrelated screening outcomes. Throughout, youll collaborate crossregionally to support broader compliance initiatives and drive consistent standards across the group.

Qualifications
  • 35 years endtoend KYC experience (UK exposure preferred).
  • Degreelevel education, ideally in Law, plus ACAMS/ICA or similar.
  • Strong understanding of UK AML/KYC regulations.
  • Experience of managing teams and balancing complex workloads.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highlevel quality assurance capability and attention to detail.
  • Experience in KYC enhancementor the real estate sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel occasionally.
