\nHaggerty Jaques is delighted to be instructed on the search for a Legal Counsel to join the legal and compliance function of a major UK consumer-facing business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded UK-qualified lawyer who enjoys partnering closely with stakeholders, influencing business decisions and providing practical legal advice in a fast-moving environment.
\n\nWorking as part of a highly regarded in-house legal team, you will support a broad range of commercial and strategic initiatives, helping the business navigate regulatory requirements whilst enabling its commercial objectives. This is a role where legal advice is valued, where you will be encouraged to think creatively and commercially, and where no two days are quite the same.
\n\nThe Opportunity
\n\nYou will work closely with senior stakeholders across the commercial function, advising on a wide variety of contractual, regulatory and governance matters. The role offers significant exposure to business-critical projects and the opportunity to become a trusted advisor to teams operating at the heart of a highly competitive sector.
\n\nAlongside providing day-to-day legal support, you will have the chance to contribute to strategic projects, process improvements and the ongoing development of legal best practice across the business.
