Litigation Paralegal, Belfast, £neg

Overview
A busy and well-established local Belfast law firm is seeking a capable and proactive Paralegal to join their Litigation team. This is a fast-paced role offering exposure to both civil litigation and criminal law matters. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive team with strong workflow and genuine long-term development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting solicitors with a busy caseload of litigation files from instruction through to conclusion
• Supporting criminal law matters including case preparation, file management, and court documentation
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court pleadings
• Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
• Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
• Managing files, deadlines, and general administrative support within a fast-moving environment

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within litigation
• Exposure to criminal law would be highly advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
