We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Factory Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to cover all site maintenance and machine breakdowns.
Job Description:
As a Multi-Skilled Factory Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of factory equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role will involve preventive, corrective, predictive, routine, and emergency maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on factory equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a factory or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications or technical training is a plus.
You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
