NPA Teaching Assistant plus MDSA at Wiltshire Council

Salary: Wiltshire Pay Scale, NPA- Grade D, 12.65-13.05 per hour. MDSA-Grade C

Hours of work: Part-time 18.25 hours per week (16.25 hours NPA, 2 hours MDSA)

All about the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our happy and friendly team. We are currently recruiting for a Named Teaching Assistant to support one of our fantastic SEND children and who will also be an MDSA 2 days a week. We are looking for some who has:

• Experience of supporting childrens learning in either small groups or 1:1 to support the delivery of the Primary Curriculum
• Good literacy & numeracy skills
• Good understanding of child development
• Experience of supporting children with SEND
• High expectations of children & themselves
• Flexible, creative & enthusiastic
• Have an ability to encourage positive behaviour
• Calm and nurturing

Working hours:

16.25 hours NPA (5 mornings 8.45-12.00), 2 hours MDSA (12.00-1.00 Tuesday and Wednesday
