Component Process & Repair Limited based in Bognor Regis West Sussex is a specialist gas turbine component repair facility.
We are currently working with a gas turbine repair and overhaul company in Bognor Regis. Due to ambitious expansion plans they are now recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Responsible for monthly and annual sales output
Ability to lead continuous improvement in our 5’S programsLiaison with customers to provide weekly updates on deliveryOrganising and planning the daily, weekly, and monthly output plansAnalysis of operational KPI’s to ensure a culture of continuous improvementManaging stock control and stock levelsResponsible for all consumable expenditure within agreed budgetsAbility to manage, control and mentor up to 20 off direct operational staff.To compile and report at monthly management meetings all operational measurements and KPI’s.To ensure all activities are in compliance with working instructions and our quality control procedures.Responsible for ensuring Production Staff comply with all Health and Safety Systems and Controls.
The Candidate
Ideally will have worked and managed within a Gas Turbine Repair environment, although experience as an operations Manager in Manufacturing / Engineering environment would be considered.
Ability to improve our manufacturing and processesProven track record in reducing lead-time, whilst increasing quality.Project and planning experienceCommercially aware with a proficient level of financial controlsExperience in interfacing with the direct end customer
