Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be supporting a specialist SEND school in Hillingdon, seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join their primary SEMH provision this October.

Job Title: SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: Hillingdon, West LondonStart Date: October 2025Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-TermSalary: 90 - 115 per day (PAYE, DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them re-engage with learning
• Using creativity and positive behaviour strategies to inspire progress
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency and care
• Working alongside a supportive team of teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff

What We're Looking For:

• Experience with SEMH, behaviour support, or SEND (school, youth work, or care backgrounds welcome)
• Resilience, patience, and a nurturing personality
• Confidence to use de-escalation strategies and encourage positive choices
• Team Teach or similar training is a bonus - but not essential
