About the Team & Role

The SEND Quality and Engagement Team performs an exciting and important role in helping ensure that engagement and co-production is at the heart of our local offer of services for children, young people with SEND and their families in Gloucestershire.

About You

If you aresomeone with a passion for communication and collaboration (co-production),who values hearing from parent carersand young peoplewith SEND and working with different people to develop information that is helpful, relevant and easy to follow then this might be the role for you!

AsaSEND Engagement and Information Development Officer,you will enjoy working with people, be creative and with a talent for digital communication and providing information that engages and makes a difference to families with SEND.

This will be achieved through a variety of direct engagement, contentcreationand development of information resources, such asannual surveys,monthly publications of theFamilies in Partnership Newsletter,social media, annual reporting of you said, we didGlosfamilies Directory|Have Your Sayandthequality assurance process of theLocal Offer.

This role is central to the Quality, Engagement and Co-production Service, working on behalf of Gloucestershire's Local Area Partnership in collaboration with parent carers and teams within Gloucestershire County Council, Education providers, Health and the Voluntary and Community sector.

To do this role effectively you will:
