Senior / Account Manager – Medical Communications

Location: Buckinghamshire - 2 days in office

Salary: £34,000 - £48,000 depending on experience

A highly regarded medical communications agency is seeking an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join its growing team. This opportunity is due to internal growth and client demand.

The role offers exposure to high-quality medical affairs and publications programmes for leading pharmaceutical and biotech clients, within a collaborative and supportive agency environment known for its scientific excellence.

The Role

• Manage and deliver medical communications projects across medical affairs and/or publications
• Act as a key client contact, building trusted, long-term relationships
• Coordinate internal teams including medical writers, editors, and designers
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and resourcing to ensure high-quality delivery
• Support strategic account planning and identify opportunities for account growth
• Ensure all work meets regulatory, compliance, and quality standards

About You

• Previous experience in a medical communications agency environment is essential
• Proven background in account management within medical affairs, publications, or scientific communications
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing ability
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
