Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a number of multi-skilled shift engineers to join their production & packaging team.

Role & Responsibilities: Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery, conveyors, metal detectors, labellers, baggers, checkweighers, PLC's, control panels, robotics, depositors

Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns & overhauls

Working on motors, gearboxes, VSD's, inverters, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearings

Improving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work

Monitor contractors on site, ordering spares & parts Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerIdeally have completed a recognised apprenticeshipHNC / HND qualified in EngineeringElectrical & mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills

Previously have dealt with industrial processing & equipment and manufacturing systems

Must have worked in a similar food manufacturing or FMCG environment

Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures would be beneficial

Must have worked on motors, sensors, inverters, gearboxes, VSD's, pneumatics, drives

Experience of using SAP would be beneficial

Advantageous if worked with PLC systems
