We have an exciting role on offer within our Specialist and Lifelong Service as a Social Worker.

About Us

The Older people's community Mental Health Team based at Woodside provides a Social Work service for Older People with Mental Health issues, diagnosed dementia and Adults diagnosed with early onset dementia in the Middlesbrough area, working with service users and their carers.

To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 10% market supplement to social work salaries, once ASYE is completed, this will be reviewed at the end of March 2026.

You will be working in a busy community, Older Persons Mental Health Team.

The successful applicant will:

Have a degree in social work

Have experience in adult social care

Be able to work autonomously and be a team player

Have sound assessment skills

Be adaptable to change

Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Be committed to multi-disciplinary working
