56-year-old female in Bridlington is seeking a couple of support workers. There is also a maternity post available to commence from mid August.

Females support needs include: Assist with general care and social activities

Duties for support during day include; bathing, dressing, preparing meals, laundry, hobby activities, shopping and cleaning.

Days and Hours available - Tues, Wed, Thurs 1pm - 5pm and Sat and Sun am 9am - 1pm

Maternity role additionally available from: Tuesday 19.8.25 - Tuesday 17.2.26 - Monday Tuesday Wednesday mornings 9-1pm (some flexibility) - 12 hours per week. More hours are available each day if desired. - Possibility of a permanent role after maternity cover ends.

What skills / experience are you looking for in candidates?

• Patience and kindness with a professional, friendly approach to care and safety.
• Experience of working with people with ASD/Downes Syndrome would be useful but not necessary.
• Show enthusiasm for understanding the complex needs of the person they are caring for.
• The ability to drive would be helpful but not essential.

A genuine occupational requirement for a female worker exists for this post under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - cost to be met by the local authority.

The service promotes independent choice and inclusion, allowing our service users to employ their own care and support as needed. We support many individuals with varying abilities, assisting with advertising and recruitment for a range of roles including support workers, carers and personal assistants.

Some travel across East Riding of Yorkshire may be required, applicants must be able to transport themselves.
