Are you passionate about helping people feel safe and secure in their homes? We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused ASB Supportto join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in delivering an effective anti-social behaviour service.

You will support customers, colleagues and partners to prevent, manage and resolve behaviours that cause nuisance, harm or harassment within our communities. Working alongside ASB Officers and Service Managers, you will provide high-quality case management support, helping customers achieve positive outcomes while ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive the right support.

This is a varied role where you will build strong relationships, assess risks, support customers through challenging situations and contribute to improving the lives of the communities we serve.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that you will work remotely as well as travel on occasion to one of our operational regions to work from our offices and take part in team meetings and collaborative activities.

Key Responsibilities

As an ASB Support Coordinator, you will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for the ASB team, providing a professional and responsive service to customers.
  • Manage and monitor incoming contacts, ensuring service standards and key targets are achieved.
  • Support the prevention, management and resolution of anti-social behaviour cases through effective case management.
  • Assess risk and vulnerability, identifying safeguarding concerns for adults and children and following relevant procedures.
  • Provide support to victims, witnesses and alleged perpetrators, ensuring interventions are fair, proportionate and risk-based.
  • Maintain accurate, factual and detailed records of all customer contact, actions and decisions using ASB case management systems.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers, internal teams, external partners and community organisations.
  • Provide effective administrative and operational support to ASB Officers and Service Managers.
  • Support customer visits, partnership meetings and case management activity when required.
  • Process invoices and support the administration of ASB services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and customer experience.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, guidance and best practice.

Experience and Skills

Ideally, you will have:

  • Knowledge or experience of anti-social behaviour and/or the social housing sector.
  • Experience building strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners.
  • Experience managing challenging conversations and supporting people through difficult situations.
  • The ability to respond positively to change and new challenges.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

The Competence and Conduct Standard introduce a sector-wide, outcome-based framework for those working in social housing in England, while also requiring senior professionals who deliver social housing services to gain, or work towards, a housing management qualification.
