VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a leading consultancy as they seek to appoint an experienced Manager to their European Payments team. This role offers full remote working , providing exceptional flexibility while supporting clients across the UK and Europe. The Role This is an ideal opportunity for a regulatory professional who wants greater autonomy, broader exposure and the ability to work remotely while leading impactful work across the payments and e-money sector. As Europe Manager, you will oversee a varied portfolio of projects, deliver specialist regulatory advice, manage and develop a talented team, and partner with senior stakeholders across fast-growing financial services businesses. You will contribute to the strategic development of the European practice and help clients navigate an evolving regulatory landscape across payments, safeguarding, AML/CTF, consumer protection and operational resilience. What You Will Do Lead and deliver regulatory compliance, audit and assurance work for a diverse portfolio of European payments and e-money clients. Provide expert guidance across PSD2, safeguarding, AML/CTF, outsourcing, governance and wider regulatory expectations. Manage, coach and develop a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and provide commercially focused, actionable advice. Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's European offering, including new service lines and specialism areas. Ensure projects are delivered to quality, timelines and commercial targets. Stay up to date with European and UK regulatory developments and market trends to provide forward-looking insight. Deep understanding of payments and e-money regulation, including PSD2, safeguarding and AML/CTF. Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring others. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in advising senior leaders. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
