Overview of role Company: Allied Bakeries Location: Belfast Closing Date 19th January 2026 This role is responsible for the general day to day cleaning of vehicles on site along with supporting the garage with support tasks and maintenance of garage, internal and external areas. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.30pm. Efficient operation of your area, cleaning to agreed standards and frequencies. Demonstrate your responsibilities in adhering to Allied Bakeries site standard operating procedures and actively contribute to these standards. Work in a safe manner observing all Health & Safety standards. Follow all instructions, guidance and training given at all times, sharing best practice through cross functional working and adopting what is learnt into the daily routine/role. Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors. Support VMU by carrying out lubricant & coolant checks on vehicles. Moving vehicles on and off site when required.(On achievement of Cat C license). Load vehicles with ballast for vehicle brake testing compliance purposes. General upkeep of external yard areas. The Right Person Ability to achieve Professional Driver Category 2 (Category C). Ability to effectively communicate with and influence others. Be flexible and co-operative to assist in meeting business needs.
